Foresights Strategist (Creative)

About This Role

jump! innovation’s new futures practice helps pioneering leaders invent future markets. For two decades, jump! have worked with some of the world’s leading brands to deliver market-beating innovations. Our new futures practice builds on these foundations, helping our clients to define alternative futures, discover high-value opportunities, and design the business models required to win them. To deliver this promise, we’re building a multi-disciplinary team of poets & quants.

What you’ll be doing in this role:

You will play a key role in shaping this new business. Helping us to further develop our new offerings and work across sectors with global clients.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Scenario design – data-driven storytelling supporting development of the “what ifs” and “what could bes” to help clients frame possible futures.
• Workshop development & delivery – supporting client workshops, including facilitation and content development.
• Experience design – devising immersive experiences to bring alternative futures to life.
• Knowledge management – developing understanding across a range of subject areas to support both client work and practice development.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Project scoping and definition – supporting definition the problem space and how to operationalisation it.
• Business model design – support design of new business models (from market evaluation to organisation design) for clients to win tomorrow.
  

Who you are:

• You’re curious, committed to learning, interested in innovation, and understanding what might come next.
• You have a university degree and 2-4 years of experience in the creative arts, marketing, innovation, or similar.
• You have experience with speculative design, world-building, creative writing, storytelling, and event development.
• We are committed to ongoing development and will support you to keep your skills sharp.
